Next Deadline - image and sound editing and title sequence.

You should all have your captured your footage and logged this onto the MACs.

Read your booklets carefully here as you must show planning of your editing.

 1.    When you capture your footage, it will be saved by each shot (from start and end point of every shot).  You MUST take the time to label every shot eg.  Andrew laces 1, Andrew laces 2, Café outside 1, Café outside 2, John 1, Reveal shot of gun.  There are procedures to follow for labelling all your footage.    Part of your final grade will be labelling your footage.  You will need to evidence this by taking a screen grab from the FCP interface and recording it onto your blog.

2.    The technicians will register you when you are in attendance in the edit suite.  This is to ensure that all members of the group are involved in the editing.

3.    You must record yourselves making at least one editing decision.  This must involve all group members and this will need to be posted on to your blog.

4.    Ensure that you collect Audience Feedback about editing decisions and document this.

Then you have to consider your sound editing.

Consider diegetic sound - discuss problems, decisions that you make.  Do you have to create any foleys yourselves - record how and why.  Evidence the process.  Record yourselves making decisions or discussing problems.

Non-Diegetic sound - document the process whereby you find your royalty free music.  What websites do you use.  If you need permissions, again, this must be documented becuase if your markers doubt the authenticity of music being royalty free and you provide no evidence of this, marks would be deducted.
